Who I am

This website, countermanfitness.com, is operated by Matt Counterman under the Counterman Fitness name. In this policy, "I" and "me" refer to Matt Counterman.

Information I collect

Information you choose to submit through my forms:

• Your name, email address and phone number
• Your age, state or Houston area status, occupation and employment status
• Your Instagram handle, if you provide it
• Your goals, training and nutrition struggles, and how you found me
• Your military status, if you provide it, so I can apply any discount
• Your preferred training time or start date, if you provide it

Some of this can relate to your health and fitness. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing.

How I use it

• To review your application and contact you about coaching or personal training
• To email you my pricing sheet when you request it
• To follow up by email, phone call or text message about your request
• To apply discounts and tailor my services to you

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messages and email

By giving me your phone number and agreeing on my forms, you agree that I may contact you by text message and email about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask me at any time to stop contacting you, and I will.

Services that process your information

To run this website and receive your submissions, I use trusted service providers, which may include Cloudflare for website hosting, and Google services such as Gmail, Google Apps Script and Google Calendar to deliver your application, send my pricing sheet and schedule calls. These providers handle your information only as needed to provide their services and under their own privacy policies.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to measure traffic, such as which pages are visited, how visitors found the site, and their general location and device type. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology. This data is aggregated and I do not use it to identify you. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Social media

Links to Instagram and Facebook take you to those sites, which have their own privacy practices that I do not control.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide coaching or training, and keep reasonable business records. After that, I delete it.

Your choices

You can ask me to tell you what information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask me to stop contacting you. Send me a message on Instagram at @counterman and I will take care of it.

Children

My services are for adults. I do not work with anyone under the age of 21, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The date below shows when it was last changed.
